“My 10 Most ‘Liked’ Hong Kong Architecture of the Century”, organised by Hong Kong Architecture Centre (HKAC) and sponsored by Create Hong Kong (CreateHK) of the Government of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR), is a campaign that aims to enrich the general public’s appreciation of the built environment. Through public voting and a series of related events consisting of public lectures, guided tours, education & young people’s events and an exhibition, we hope that participants will be able to understand more about the historical, social, economic, artistic and cultural evolution and development of our city. More importantly, we hope participants would better recognize the essence of our place and foster our sense of belongings to the city.
Public voting is scheduled for 1st to 31st January, 2015, in which Hong Kong’s general public can vote for their 10 Most ‘Liked’ Hong Kong Architecture of the Century among the 100 shortlisted entries. The results will be announced on 20 March 2015 at the opening ceremony of exhibition. The exhibition will be held in Garden Court, Pacific Place, Admiralty from 20th to 26th March, 2015.
「十築香港–我最愛的‧香港百年建築」由香港建築中心主辦，香港特別行政區政府「創意香港」贊助。本項目期望透過公眾選舉及一連串的的公開活動，包括講座、導賞團、教育及青年活動及展覽等，提升公眾對身處建築環境的關注，了解香港在社會、民生、經濟、藝術、文化等方面的蛻變與源流；以及深入認識香港，增加我們對這個城市的歸屬感。
公眾選舉定於二零一五年一月一日至三十一日舉行，邀請全港市民從一百項候選的香港建築物名單中，選出十項他們最愛的香港建築。投票結果將於二零一五年三月二十日展覽開幕典禮上公佈。有關展覽將於二零一五年三月二十日至二十六日於金鐘太古廣場 Garden Court 舉行。

Hong Kong Architecture Centre is a non-profit architecture promotion organisation established in 2006 to promote interaction between architecture and the general public through Archi Education, Archi Focus, Archi Talk, Archi Tour, Archi Walk and Friends of Architecture. We believe that an enhanced appreciation of the built-environment around us from various aspects can help cultivate a deeper understanding of the art of architecture, our culture, and subsequently to build collectively for the betterment of our city.

About Create Hong Kong
Create Hong Kong (CreateHK) is a dedicated office set up by the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) to spearhead the development of Hong Kong’s creative industries. Set up in June 2009, CreateHK co-ordinates the Government policy regarding creative industries, focuses Government’s resources catering for the promotion and speeding up of the development of creative industries in Hong Kong, and works closely with the trade to boost the development of creative industries.
